Summary:

Memories began to come back to Livvy in these next chapters. One of her family skiing before the ban was placed. Her memories were soon interrupted with stories of Ray being a wild child. He opened up and brought memories of himself into the house. Later he confessed that he believed in fate and when it was Livvy's turn to answer she did know if she believed.

More clues about people were revealed. Ray showed facial love for Livvy when she walked out of the bathroom with make-up on and later showed he knew card tricks. Livvy was thinking of "Edward"?! Ray was quick say that he would install of telephone in the home for Livvy. He wants to anything for her. A couple of days later, Livvy went with Ray to work on fences but ended up going home early. Later after dinner, they played a card game and Ray ended up touching Livvy's hand. Livvy, being nervous, pulled her hands away which apparently offended Ray.

Rosie the Riveter

More and more information is coming out about the mysterious Edward. While working for a comedy show, Livvy met a soldier name Edward. He seemed nice and had some of the same interests as Livvy. Edward even chose Livvy over her gorgeous friend Dot. This flattered Livvy but made Dot envious.

With a day off Livvy decides to go visit Lorelei and Rose and learn Ikebana (flower arranging). But to her surprise they both had to work making posters like Rosie the Riveter. When walking Livvy to her lesson Lorelei slipped the secret that her and her sister have met soldiers. One soldier even gave Lorelei his mother's chain. But Lorelei was hiding something that Rose said that she couldn't tell and that Livvy couldn't get out of her mind.  At the very end, Livvy was on the phone with her sister who was encouraging her to come home, leave Ray, and finish her master's degree



Ikebana

I loved hearing that Ray was a little devil in him as a child. This helps me picture the boy he was and may still have inside of him. I could just picture me playing the same pranks on my sister.  RAY he loves Livvy so much and Livvy notices it but doesn't do anything. I know they don't know each other all that well and they both don't open up to each other but they live together they need to talk more. When Ray took Livvy's hands I was so happy. I thought "they are going somewhere" but Livvy ruined it but taking her hands away.

I am afraid that all of this knowledge we are gaining of Edward is going to ultimately make a downfall in Livvy. He definitely got Livvy pregnant so he has to be trouble. This also worries me that one soldier did this to Livvy, Lorelei and Rose might get in trouble too. Especially if they are keeping secrets from Livvy. Livvy's sister is making me so mad. She doesn't understand that Ray is a good person who takes wonderful care of Livvy. Livvy even knows it but doesn't say anything. If Livvy left it would just break Ray's heart. I don't know if he will get over it. He loves her and after his parents and brother left he doesn't need any more despair.
