Summary:
Stacey, Drea and Amber all run to the library to catch the creep. When they get there Donovan is coming over. He asks Drea if she is going to the hockey game then leaves. Drea is scared. Who can she trust? She also notices that he was studying her. When the three of then arrive at the pay phone Chad is on. They both ask questions. Who did you hang up on? Why are you going to the library? It has been twenty minutes from Drea's phone call and apparently Chad has been their 5 minutes. Still standing there the pay phone rings. It's him. He has Drea's bra and Stacey's laundry. The find that they know everything about them. He is always one step ahead.
Stacey cannot help but love but love Chad. They are too scared to go to sleep. So as normal people do they do facials. During this bonding time, Drea confesses a little. The creeper starting calling Drea and him a couple and he loved her. But he got jealous with whom she hung out with and when she never answered his calls. She has even talked to him about how far she has gone. She knows now that it was wrong. This is why she will not tell her parents or the police. They still have the option of the creeper being Chad. All they know is that it is someone who knows the ground and them.
The next morning Stacey stayed home while the others told the police. Stacey decides to take a bath that will help her dream after she wrote on a paper the question "WHO IS AFTER DREA." She knows this will only work if she is brave and will accept the consequences. As soon as she lays in bed Chad comes to the window to talk about them. She has to pee. He hands her a note with the creeper handwriting saying her name. Inside it said LOVE IS FUNNY then her handed her 3 lilies. Chad said that she will soon understand then kisses her. Amidst the kiss she is shaken and awoken. It was a nightmare. The girls are back and tell her that the police will only add an extra cruiser to patrol. PJ comes with news that Veronica Leeman is getting creepy calls too. Drea now wants to go home to her parents. Stacey wants to do a seance now. With a devic crystal they get help from her grandma and finally know who the creeper is.
Response:
The creeper can't be Donovan. Donovan sounds so sweet. He is the type of guy that could be him but ends up broken and completely innocent. Chad on the other hand. After Stacey's nightmare I am not so sure. I want Chad to be with Stacey but if he is a creeper then he needs to be taken down! The creeper has to be a boy student. What grown man gets this jealous unless he lives in his parents bedroom.
By now Stacey should realized she is dreaming when she has to pee. How many times has she done this. I don't think seances are good. I have watched too many ghost shows and horror movies to know only bad things happen. But this is a book with students so hopefully her grandma can save her. I just hope she knows what she is getting herself into.
