Summary:

It was 4 a.m. and the phone rang. Stacey answered and the person asked for Drea but he wouldn't give her his name. He hung up then called again where Drea took the phone. Stacey still thinks Chad is off limits and when she asked Drea who the boy was she wanted to drop the subject. Stacey laid back in bed and thought of the time when Chad and her kissed. Amber, a girl who lived upstairs, came in because she was hungry. She couldn't even pry the information out of "Dray." Hillcrest is a boy and girl boarding school where the boy to girl ration is 4:1 as Amber described it. After Amber left, Stacey gave Drea a card reading using playing cards instead Tarot cards because this is the way she was taught. Apparently Chad was going to disappoint her and Drea had to be careful-. Stacey couldn't say what came next. Drea soon received and email from Chad. It had a nursey rhyme website with the rhyme "The House That Jack Built." She just took it as a goodnight email like she used to get.

The morning went on when they were in French class with the teach Madame LeSnore or LeNore. Since she was up all night she started to fall asleep. She started to sweat because she was nervous. She soon realized she had to go to the bathroom. Madame came by and put a F on her paper with the not "YOU KILLED MAURA AND NOW DREA WILL BE NEXT." She then woke up realized she fell asleep in class. Madame LeNore let her rush out and go to the office or bathroom.

Lunch was next. Stacey stands behind Veronica Leeman, who she despises, in the lunch line full of disgusting food. She sat alone to think. Ace of spades means death. Lilies mean death. Drea go both once in the nightmare and next in the card reading. All of her friends sat down and interrupted her thinking. They started talking and Chad did not send Drea an email. Stacey took her eyes off Chad to look down and noticed her chips were in a heart shape. Donovan, Chad's roommate, came by and Drea started flirting with him. Drea started shifting through his sketches and found one of herself. They walked away with Chad staring after him. Amber chimed in saying Drea always gets the boy.

Okay so there is a serious love octagon going on. Stacey likes Chad who cannot decide between Stacey or Drea. Drea wants Chad but also could have Donovan or the random guy on the phone. Donovan really likes Drea but Chad dated her. Amber doesn't want PJ but wants a boyfriend. Boarding school has to be complicated.

She has to pee it must be a nighmare. She should know if she is dreaming by now. If I was having dreams about death of my best friend I would tell her. Even if she thought I was crazy and didn't believe. Just telling her to be careful is smart. She may hate me but that is what friends do. Who seriously calls at four in the morning. Crazy people! Who want something more than a friend. I learned something new Lilies are a sign of death. Now I will be more careful of what I buy. Who is Maura and is she really dead? Who is the guy? What does this mean?!

Donovan seems like a sweet guy. Any guy who is conservative about his feelings has to be nice. Stacey has a problem. Her roommate is someone who takes everybody and leaves her none. I don't like when friends date friends exes. But since Drea clearly never cares for who she dates I shall let it go. It's not like I have control over the book.
