Summary:

Stacey is wondering if wetting the bed led her to Drea in the porta pot what does puking show her. Stacey is finally happy that Chad is talking to her again but Drea seems to be mad. Later in the day Stacey and Amber are in yoga and are doing a position called savasana. Stacey then realizes she is late to detention so she runs out and finds that detention is moved to the basement. When she reaches the basement the sign says DETENTION FOR STACEY BROWN and all the doors are lock except the last one. The lights turn off and she can hear a slapping sound along with a male voice. She thinks it is PJ. She can't run so she goes to the door. It is Maura the little girl who died 4 years ago. She is jump roping and singing a different version of Miss Mary Mack:

    

Miss Mary Mack,Mack,Mack, all dressed in black, black, black. She has a knife, knife, knife, stuck in her back, back, back. She cannot breathe, breathe, breathe. She cannot cry, cry, cry. That's why she begs, begs, begs. She begs to die, die, die.

Stacey has 1 week to keep promise says the male voice. It was a dram and Stacey woke up in the middle of yoga puking. Amber told her she was singing in her sleep. Stacey then stayed in her room and Amber came in later. She said some random guy ran into her and told her happy anniversary and ask how is she going to be celebrated. Clearly he meant a year ago and about Drea. He also told Amber he is going to be performinga seance where Veronica died. Then Stacey found a letter in the stack of mail Amber handed her. Inside letter someone wrote "WILL YOU KEEP YOUR PROMISE"

Here is my question "WILL YOU KEEP YOUR PROMISE?" Seriously what is the promise. What would Stacey have to promise that is so sacred that Stacey doesn't even know. I have found I am very impatient. I like to know the facts right away. But what would the fun be if that was given away. The Miss Mary Mack song is cute in a disturbing way. The song completely explains the story well but a little girl singing that song is sad. It is very easy to teach a kid a song even though they have no idea what it means. Children are very malleable.

Warning if you are a creeper don't talk to me. Why would some random guy tell Amber happy anniversary of someone's death. That is just mean. I wonder what else he knows though. He was there when Amber received the letter what is his role in the book. I don't understand how Stacey does it. She has nightmares in the first place. Nightmares scare me so much. Then she goes on everyday with the burden of people who died that she could have saved and now are in her dreams. Her nightmares are rubbing it in her face. I hope Stacey can pull this one off.
