Summary: The book begins with a nightmare. Stacy Ann Brown is looking for Drea in a forest. When she wakes she immediatly starts carving D.O.E.S into a candle. Those are the initials of her roommate Drea. This ritual that Stacy does will get rid of her nightmare. She writes a G on her palm so she dreams of her grandmother. Drea and Stacy go to a school called Hillcrest and they have been roommates for two years. Drea is very pretty and gets all the boys unlike Stacy.
Her next dream she is at her grandmothers who gives her her ring. Suddenly she hears a scream and starts running toward the forest because she knows the scream is Drea's. While running she realizes she has to pee and then loses her shoe in mud. A man appears with lillies who says he knows her secret. Stacy keeps running but steps on a stick that goes into her foot. Then dirt is in her mouth so she throws a rock to keep the man away. She awakes and notices she wet the bed. She also broke the window. When she looks over the candle isn't burned all the way explaining her nightmare.
No one knows that Stacy is wetting the bed not even Drea. After Drea tries to fix the window she leaves to get a drink. Stacy quickly changes her sheets but not soon enough. Drea just blew it off as "lady problems". While cleaning up the glass from the window Stacy steps on a piece of glass like in her nightmare. Using a potato, she stops the bleeding. Drea is so used to Stacy doing spells, having nightmares, and now using a potato to stop her bleeding foot.

Yay I started another book! It is also a series yay! There are three more books after this one. So apparently Stacy is having nightmares that are coming true. The first three chapters are really fast paced. I didn't know what was happening at first. It started out in a nightmare and the book did not even give her name until the second chapter after she did the freaky spell thing. As of right now her i think her family is a bunch of witches. I feel bad though. She is wetting the bed and too embarressed to tell anyone. Not even her roommate. The potato part at the end made me laugh. It brough comic relief to a very confusing chapter.
I think I am going to like this book because it is fast paced, a mystery, and as the back cover says she likes her best friends boyfriend. Nothing better than freaky people and a test of friendship. If the chapter order and sequence of events become weird I am going to take them and put them in an order that will be understood on the blog. Nothing is more confusing than a backwards blog writing about a backwards book.
