Blue is for Nightmares Pg.75-108

Summary:

About to leave for a shower, Stacey knows she needs to talk to Drea. But Drea won't talk. All she says is that the guy thought she was dating someone but she is not that is why she was arguing with him. Drea leaves then suddenly there is someone at the window. Armed with a bat Stacey proceeds and finds Chad in a hockey mask and his jersey. Stacey was scared out of her wits. Chad said that he found his jersey in his mailbox with a note that said "STAY AWAY FROM HER. I'M WATCHING YOU!" After he gave the note to Stacey, he asked her to tell Drea he had to cancel because of hockey practice. The prediction came true.

Stacey went on a search for Drea in bathroom and found her next to Veronica. Drea over stressed something about Chad to get Veronica Leeman angry. Veronica then gets angry because if was her Dad that Amber flashed and who pointed at them. Drea then called Veronica's dad a perv. Stacey took Drea into a stall for privacy and showed her a note. The man wants Drea all to himself. When they got out everyone was gone and a package was there in the open. The package. On the mirror was written "I'M WATCHING YOU!" The same letters as the note from Chad. Stacey tries to think of all the possible suspects. Chad or someone who wants Chad and Drea is in the way. She thinks of Veronica. When they open the letter attached to the box it said "FOUR MORE DAY" and when they opened the box there were 4 lilies. 4 days until death.

Look a Witch

They won't call the police. They think that the police will call them crazy. Is it Chad to get them back? By smelling the lilies Stacey finds that the person who sent them is cloes. She also finds that they were soaked a couple of days, smell like dirt, and the person is digging. Ever since she could remember Stacey could do this. It is not automatic but she would touch a friends towel and knew divorce. A phone ring interrupted. Amber and Stacey presuade her to put it on speakerphone. When she does, the man knows he is on speaker phone. He thought they were more than friends but Drea wasn't faithful. He sent the flowers, 4 days until they meet. He also knew Stacey's name and that she is a witch but he doesn't care. Stacey had a feeling the voice was familar. They search Amber's address book and the student directory too see if the phone number was in there. It was in Amber's directory but it was a pay phone by the library. Strange.

Stacey puts the lilies, lemon juice, vinegar, and pins into a bottle and with a spell it will give Drea protection. They all think of their kind of protection. Stacey thinks of the moon, nature, rain, and skies. Amber thinks of armed guards, strong, throbbin masculine biceps. Drea thinks of her parent, the way they used to be. After they decide to go to the library to see if the person is still there.

Resonse:

Chad scaring Stacey was just foreshadowing the events to come. All the creepy notes from the man Drea is talking to is freaking, me the reader, out. I mean for heavens sake a man was in the girls bathroom, where they shower. Veronica's dad being the perv...that is just creepy. Is it the man on the phone?

When Stacey mention digging in the dirt I immediatly thought of grave. He is digging a grave for Drea to cover up the evidence. But that is just my guess.

This chapter left me with a lot of information but even more unanswered questions. I underlined on in the above response and below but here are more. Feel free to comment who and how the mystery will turn out. If you already read the book don't put the ending down. I don't want to know the ending. 

1. Why does Amber have the pay phones in her address book?

2. Who in the world is the man on the phone.?

3. How does he know Stacey's name? Why is his voice familar?

I also am curious what your ideas are of protection are. Whose are they more similar too? Stacey, Drea, or Amber? For example: I think more like Amber. If I am being attacked and need help a want a very strong (handsome) man at my side. If I had my parents...well we might lose. Nature I have a feeling won't be on my side either. I am most curious to read this answer!
