Breaking Dawn Pg. 468-511

By: Stephenie Meyer
Summary:
Bella couldn't wait to get back to Renesmee. How would she look today? She rushed to the closet to find clothes but of course Alice filled it with clothes she didn't want. Edward used his vampire skills to find denim and cotton. Bella took note for later. When they arrived to see Renesme she mangled a spoon and was demanding Bella. She also found out that Jacob left without reason and Emmet was taking about them moving to Dartmouth for college. Jacob returned saying he told or showed Charlie about werewolf and that Bella was well.

Jacob told him about the new mouth to feed but Charlie was so furious he didn't wan to know the details.  Alice brought colored contacts to hide Bella's scary eyes. They made her eyes blurry and they would desolve in an hour if Charlie did not leave. She was also given instuctions on acting human. Charlie arrived and was shocked on how different Bella was. Not as shocked, though, as when he saw Renesmee. She has his and Bella's eyes. Edward explained that she was his niece that he was adopted. Charlie couldn't believe that he was a grandpa. Toward the end Emmet tried to ease the tension by watching football.

Response:
Jacob is unbelievable. He is hurting Bella and hurting Charlie. No one likes to know they have been lied to. Charlie's life is about to be turned around. He is finding out that all of the myths are true. I can't imagine my father finding out that I have a baby from someone else. Even telling Charlie that Renesmee is related to Edward not Bella can't take away the fact that she looks like Bella. Charlie is a grandpa YAY! Charlie is my favorite character and I don't like reading that he is hurting. My favorite scene is Bella's birthday. He is the kind of father that is awkward and makes movies so much better. I have a feeling that Charlie will so understand.
